Makerspace

Glenbrook South's new Makerspace is an excellent way for STEM students to explore their ideas. We have access to the space throughout the day to create anything within the range of our imaginations. Our Makerspace contains machines such as a 3D printer, miter saw, table saw, laser engraver, and many more. Recently, a Brain Bar has been installed, giving us a place to work at during study halls. Based on various articles, I have discovered that schools across the United States have also began to construct Makerspaces. It is wonderful that students are being given more and more opportunities to express themselves. With all the new resources we are now equipped with, many accomplishments will arise.
